Cecilia Castillo Promoted to VP Technology

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND (March 25, 2008) – Conexion, leading provider of club management software and financial services for the fitness industry, today announced the promotion of Cecilia Castillo to VP of Technology.  In this role, Cecilia is responsible for Conexion’s software product development and related systems. 

Cecilia started with Conexion in 2000 and continues to successully move up the chain of command. She has worked in many roles in the company including software developer, technical support, implementer, trainer, and manager. Cecilia’s most recent position was that of Conexion’s Director of Development, where she was responsible for the software's continual upgrade.

Prior to joining Conexion in 2000, she spent 10 years in software development, much of that time in the banking and insurance industry. 

During her time with Conexion, she has learned many aspects of the club management software business.  Cecilia has a BBA in Marketing from the University of New Mexico and a Master of Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix.  Cecilia enjoys cardio conditioning and wellness experiences at her current fitness facility. She also has many outside interests which include tinkering with guitar and piano, spending time with her family, and bicycling and weightlifting.
