Genesys Athletic Club Makes the Switch to Conexion
Large Hospital Based Center Converts to Industry Experts
BALTIMORE, MARYLAND --- September 10, 2007 … Conexion, providers of leading club management software for the fitness industry, announces today their successful installation at hospital-affiliated center Genesys Athletic Club, located in Grand Blanc, Michigan. The multi-purpose club, which occupies over 200,000 square feet, will use the software to manage its over 50 programs and activities, and serves over 5500 members.
Conexion converted Genesys from BetaData, its legacy system, and installed its own club management software in 20 new workstations in various locations throughout the club. Although all stations run the Conexion software, each station is configured differently, to meet the specific needs of its location and purpose within the club. This includes the management of tennis and racquetball courts as well as an aquatics department. Additionally, Conexion will serve as the club’s billing partners for a portion of the membership base.
