Hockessin Athletic Club and Conexion Launch
Groundbreaking Ambassador Program
HOCKESSION, DELAWARE --- August 20, 2007 …. Hockessin Athletic Club, a 120,000+ square foot health club located in Hockessin, Delaware, announced that their Ambassador Program, which helped migrate over 90% of active memberships from the club’s former Pike Creek location, was a complete success. Hockessin Athletic Club management cites Conexion, the club’s management software and technology partner, as an essential part of that achievement.
The marketing strategy for the Ambassador Program called for existing Pike Creek members to get guaranteed rollover time of one to three months with the opportunity to double that time by referring others to join the club. According to Greg Maurer, General Manager, “this strategy would have been impossible to administrate without Conexion.” With multiple variables feeding into the Ambassador Program - like membership categories, billing rates, referral tracking, and incentives - “all information has to be managed by the software, and have no mistakes. As an example, if the referral leaves, the benefits for the existing member stop. The software enables us to account for this attrition.”
