Software: Desktop
Suited for those clients who wish to host and run the software internally.
The Desktop version of our club management software is ideal for those clubs who do not have access to the Internet, or who (for reasons like IT requirements and firewalls) cannot use Hosted Software.
If you choose to run the Desktop version, please use this guide to help you decide what computer systems you will need to purchase. Every configuration of the software should be run with client computers and a server computer. Our Desktop Software is a true client server application, so there are processes that run on the server. As a result, the server should not be used as a workstation.
You will need to purchase at least one (1) workstation and one (1) server to run the Desktop Software.
The minimum recommended system specifications for the workstations are:
- CPU P4 2GHz
- Memory 512 MB of RAM
- Operating System Windows XP Pro (use of Vista requires a RAM increase)
- Hard Drive 60 GB (200 MB used by Conexion Club Management Software client)
- Video Display 800 x 600 16 bit colorThe minimum recommended system specifications for servers are:
- Processor: Dual Core Intel Xeon 5150 @ 2.666 Ghz (recommend dual processors)
- RAM: 4 GB of RAM
- Disk: RAID 5 with QTY 3-72 GB hard drives
- Operating System: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard x64 Edition
- SQL: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Standard
- Tape Backup: Ultrium Tape Backup

Our Hosted Software simply requires a computer with access to the Internet. Either way, you’ll get the same high-performance Conexion software.
